This special event will premiere the documentary ”FAIR GAME” that displays how people with different backgrounds enter the industry, how their origin informs the making of games, and how the state of gender diversity has evolved and is taken more seriously in the industry.
Before the screening, IO Interactive will describe how they are working on creating an inclusive workplace aiming to cultivate and retain diverse talent.
Following the screening, there will be a panel featuring some of the participants from the documentary with insights, stories, successes, challenges, and experiences with making games in Denmark and abroad.
The documentary has been created as part of the EU-funded project FAIR GAME.
As usual, everybody is welcome and no sign-up is needed. And as an extra treat, this version of Spilbar features an Open Call for any and all who wish to present their game in front of a live audience. All you need to do is to sign up by using this form.
